The Young Adult Mission Team (YAMT) is made up of post-high school young adults, in their 20’s and 30’s, from the various Associations in the Conference, who have strong leadership skills and gifts for ministry.
The YAMT also includes Josh Blakesley, PSEC Minister of Youth and Young Adult Discipling, Emily Sicher of the Youth and Young Adult Mission Team, and Amelie Sell, convener of Ecumenical Young Adults.
The YAMT meets in local churches, via email and telephone, and strives to have less meetings and more ministry!
The overall vision of the team is: To model creative ways for empowering youth to live as full members of the body of Christ…
– In their local churches
– At the Association and Conference Level
– Nationally, globally within the United Church of Christ
– Ecumenically with other believers
This Mission Team of the Pennsylvania Southeast Conference includes members appointed by and accountable to the PSEC Conference Consistory.
